1 cup of boiling water poured on 1 heaping spoonful lard, 1 t. Salt, 1 ¼ cup granulated sugar. Let stand until luke warm and all is dissolved.
In a cup mix 1 Fleishmans yeast cake, 1 T. sugar with ¼ cup luke warm water.
Beat 2 whole eggs and add to the first mixture. Then add the yeast mixture.
Add gradually 4 measuring cups of flour. Beat well after each addition of flour.
Mix these early in teh morning if you wish to make them at dinner the same day . Let rise in a warm place until it is twice its bulk then knead for about 5 minutes. Make into desired rolls and let rise for at least 3 hours before baking.
If you wish to bake them the day after mixing place them in the refrigerator until you wish to use them. This dough will keep in the refrigerator for nearly a week.
